The Problem

Meetopia aimed to enter a highly competitive dating market dominated by established platforms. The core challenge was not just building another dating app, but creating a system that delivers relevant matches, smooth real-time interaction, and high user retention. The platform needed to handle: Complex matchmaking logic (preferences, interests, intent) Real-time features like chat and notifications Smooth onboarding without overwhelming users Scalable infrastructure to support rapid growth Additionally, most dating apps suffer from low engagement after initial signup. Our Solution

1. Smart Matchmaking Engine We designed a flexible matching system that considers multiple parameters like gender preference, interests, distance, and user intent. This ensured higher-quality matches instead of random swiping.
